National Third Sector Leaders’ Symposium
Tuesday 28th October 2008
‘Creating Strategies to Shape Our Future’
If you are a leader of an Association or organisation from the Third Sector here is your opportunity to make a difference to the future of Australia!
If you are a CEO, Senior Manager, President or Executive of a not for profit association this is an opportunity to represent your organisation at this important event. On the 28th of October your peers from around the country will be meeting to discuss issues, including the impact of climate change, education and skills shortage, our fragile economy and the future of the third sector.
The Federal Government have identified this event as an important avenue to gain feedback and AuSAE is pleased to announce both Lindsay Tanner, MP Federal Minister for Finance and Deregulation and Senator Ursula Stephens who was appointed by Prime Minister Kevin Rudd as Secretary for Social Inclusion and Parliamentary Secretary for the Voluntary Sector spending some considerable time with us during the day.
We expect this event will attract considerable interest from the media and other agencies.
This is the best opportunity for you as a professional and a representative of your organisation to make your position clear to the nation’s decision makers. This will be a round table facilitated event where you will share ideas and concepts with your peers with a view to presenting a consensus on outcomes and actions.
We will have printed reviewed proceedings which will capture all the outcomes and hopefully will be tabled in parliament.
This is an important event that is not to be missed. There are limited places so if you wish to attend please register now.
